When the Mavericks were only below two points against Minnesota in the fourth quarter, with barely a few seconds remaining, Doncic hit a three-pointer to put his team up 2-0 in the series and send Gobert tumbling. After the 3-pointer, Doncic became too aggressive and trash-talked with the defensive player of the year.

“Motherf*cker! You can’t f*cking guard me.” Doncic said.

Doncic recorded 32 points, 13 assists, and 10 rebounds in 41 minutes, while Kyrie Irving contributed 20 points, six assists, and four rebounds in 39 minutes.
