He made a name for himself as the ruthless Khal Drogo in Game Of Thrones.
But Jason Mamoa, 39, is happy to admit he has a soft side thanks to his mum Coni, as he revealed he was ‘constantly crying’ on the set of his superhero flick Aquaman.
Calling himself the ‘biggest drama queen’ while speaking to The Mirror on Sunday, he explained: ‘I was constantly crying. I was raised by a single mother and I’m very connected to my emotions.’

‘I’m not going to nor-mally get hired to play those emotional things – and I’m capable of it. I’m just trapped in a big, dumb body!’
The Justice League star was raised by his mother in Iowa after moving away from his hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii, and he often posts sweet tributes to her when he shares snaps with her on Instagram.
Jason has praised her on multiple occasions for being a ‘strong’ parent, and he has also said that single mothers are all ‘truly superheroes’.

His candid admission comes after the actor returned to the character that made him famous on Saturday when he hosted Saturday Night Live.
Slipping the animal pelts back on, he reprised his role as Khal Drogo, the Dothraki leader who appeared, and later died, in the first season of Game Of Thrones.
In the skit, the warlord hosted a Jerry Springer-style talk show for the HBO hit’s other deceased characters.

Risen from the dead: Slipping the animal pelts back on, he reprised his role as Khal Drogo, the Dothraki leader who appeared, and later died, in the first season of Game Of Thrones .
Drogo! Drogo! In the skit, the warlord hosted a Jerry Springer-style talk show for the HBO hit’s other deceased characters
The show, called Khal Drogo’s Ghost Dojo, was co-hosted by Keenan Thompson, who chastises Momoa’s character for his relaxed posture, asking, ‘You ever heard of manspreading?’
The first guest is Hodor, the Stark family’s servant, who is famously only able to say his own name and perished at the end of season six.
Khal Drogo only grunts in reply, leaving Keenan to dryly comment: ‘Great convo’.
Later in the skit, Kate McKinnon debuts as Joffrey, who gets into an on-screen scuffle with his murderer, Olenna Tyrell.

Homage: The Springer reference was clear during the on-stage fight scene
During Momoa’s opening monologue, the first-time SNL host referenced his famously athletic physique as he boasted, ‘I am so muscular to be hosting Saturday Night Live’.
He then went on to shamelessly -and hilariously- comment on his massively successful career and ‘smokin hot wife’.
The Red Road actor is married to Lisa Bonet, 51, and the pair share daughter Lola Iolani, 11, and son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, nine, together.
Later on, smitten cast-member Aidy Bryan asked Jason to open a jar of pickles while looking her in the eye – a request the DC star obliged.

Many of the skits starring Momoa played on the actor’s physical strength, like the scene from 1985 college comedy Day Of The Dorks, in which he plays the illiterate Beef, an aggressive jock with a deepset hatred of ‘dorks’.
The skit revolved around Momoa breaking furniture and walls in the college dorm, to the chagrin of his friends.
In another, Momoa starred as a house husband touting the benefits of GE’s Big Boy appliance range – household appliances for men, like a dishwasher with a 70lb reinforced steel door and an F- energy rating.
Another segment depicted the Justice League actor as the heretofore unknown fourth spirit who visits Scrooge in the classic A Christmas Carol.
Described as ‘so extra’, much of the skit is an extended strip tease by the hunky actor.
