Britney Spears is praising one of her former flames, choreographer Wade Robson, who recently shared a video about his trauma in an interview with Dr Peter A. Levine. Robson has previously been in the news for allegations he made against the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

According to the same source, Spears took to Instagram to share a now-deleted post where she wrote, “It warms my heart to see an older man take his time to even speak on such a subject!!!” together with a video of Wade. “Come on, let’s talk about [it]??? There is trauma and then there is trauma,” she added.

Spears, 42, and Robson, 41, have worked together over the years, with the “Toxic” singer once reportedly cheated on her ex Justin Timberlake with the choreographer. “We were out one night and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night,” she wrote in her memoir, The Woman in Me.

As reported by The Guardian, Robson was just five years old when he met MJ after he won a dance competition in his native Australia. Robson had been a fan of the pop icon at the time, so when he and his family were invited to Neverland in California two years later, they made the trip.

“Michael Jackson was one of the kindest, most loving people I knew. He helped me tremendously with my career and my creativity,” Robson told The Guardian in 2019. “He also sexually abused me for seven years.”

After coming forward with the allegations, Robson then appeared in HBO’s award-winning documentary film Leaving Neverland, which goes into these claims in more detail.

In February, the lawyer of MJ’s accusers Robson and James Safechuck said that they wanted a trial date before the Michael biopic is released in 2025, writes Rolling Stone.

These days, the Brisbane native seems to be putting his energy into life mentoring and child abuse healing and prevention, while continuing to pursue his love of dance, as seen on his website.

“Several years ago, Wade experienced two nervous breakdowns culminating in his leaving the entertainment business and disclosing for the first time the sexual abuse he experienced as a child; his healing journey had begun,” states his bio.

He offers one-on-one online sessions for life mentoring, has a podcast called Trauma to Triumph, and opens up about his traumatic experiences on his blog, Wade’s Window.

He and his wife are also the founders of the Robson Child Abuse Healing and Prevention Fund, which is a donor-advised fund at the Hawaii Community Foundation, as seen on his website.
