Aside from Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese might have more sway than anybody in the WNBA right now.

She certainly has a massive platform, and has used that to leverage historic endorsement deals and attract a ton of attention toward her, the Chicago Sky, and the sport of women’s basketball as a whole.

And now Reese is using that platform to make a demand for one of her fellow rookies.

On Tuesday, Reese posted on X saying, “Get Nika her visa NOW, charter flights are HERE, give every team the same PUBLICITY cause it ain’t just one team, online bullying ain’t it AT ALL, and oh the CHICAGO SKY ARE HERE & ON THE RISE!”

Reese is referencing the fact that Seattle Storm rookie guard Nika Muhl (who is from Croatia) hasn’t been able to play in the WNBA yet, due to lingering visa issues.

It has been reported that Muhl should be able to make her WNBA debut on Wednesday.

Although Reese might know something we don’t, and is trying to lobby the WNBA to take action on her fellow rookie’s behalf.

And good on Reese for doing so.
