After a season of Blind Auditions, Battles, Knockouts and Playoff Rounds, The Voice went live with the Top 20 artists from Teams John Legend, Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay and Reba McEntire giving America its opportunity to vote for the first time.
The finale performances by the Top 5—Asher HaVon, Bryan Olesen, Josh Sanders, Karen Waldrup or Nathan Chester—were Monday night, and the results of America’s vote were revealed with The Voice’s Season 25 winner announced at the end of a two-hour, star-packed night of performances by The Black Keys, Jelly Roll, Kate Hudson, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, Muni Long and Thomas Rhett.
In addition, Season 23 winner Gina Miles returned to The Voice stage to perform her new single, “Wicked Game.” The night also saw the return of the talented musicians of the U.S. Army Field Band.
Additionally, as part of The Voice’s 25th celebration, there were video appearances by Kelly Clarkson, CeeLo Green, Niall Horan, Jennifer Hudson, Nick Jonas, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, including some of the best coach vocal performances over the seasons but also a 25-season tribute.

Here’s how the night broke down:
To celebrate its 25th season on NBC, The Voice opened the show with a montage of all the coaches who sat in the red swivel chairs over the years, starting with Season 1’s Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo and wrapping up with Season 24’s Niall Horan.
Then country star Thomas Rhett kicked off the entertainment portion of The Voice Season 25 finale with a performance of “As Beautiful As You.”
Next, Dan + Shay teamed up with Karen Waldrup on Lady A’s “You Look Good.”
The entertainment continued with a silly video package in which John and Chance kept trying to one-up each other on the keyboard, singing , followed by a dance-off.
Then The Voice moved back into music with Muni Long performing her platinum-selling hit “Made for Me.”
The next coach/artist pairing was John with Bryan Olesen on “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone.
Next taking The Voice stage were The Black Keys performing “Beautiful People (Stay High).”
Following The Black Keys, Reba paired with Josh Sanders on a duet of her song “Back to God.”
Visiting The Voice stage for the first time, reigning 2023 CMA Awards Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson performed her new single, “Hang Tight Honey.”
Then Lainey got a very welcome surprise. Reba invited her to become an official member of the Grand Ole Opry, one of country music’s highest honors. It was truly a heartfelt moment that had Lainey in tears with her family was on hand to watch.
Also making her Voice debut was Kate Hudson who has added music to her acting career. She performed her new single “Glorious.”
The fourth pairing of a coach with an artist was Reba with Asher HaVon dueting on “On My Own” by Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald.
The final coach/artist pairing of the night was John with Nathan Chester. They performed the classic “When a Man Loves a Woman” by Percy Sledge.
Next up was Jelly Roll debuting “I Am Not Okay,” new music from his forthcoming album.
Finally, it was time for the results reveal. Host Carson Daly called the five finalists to the stage and began. The finalist in fifth place was Karen Waldrup. Fourth place was Nathan Chester. Third place was Bryan Olesen. Second place was Josh Sanders.
And the winner of Season 25 of The Voice was Asher HaVon, making Reba the winning coach.
The Voice will return this fall for Season 26 on NBC. Streams next day on Hulu.
