After a star-studded night filled with performances by the contestants, coaches, and special guests, Team Reba’s Asher HaVon was crowned the winner of The Voice Season 25. The finale was also bittersweet as it marked the farewell of three coaches leaving after this season. So, who are the coaches for The Voice Season 26? Here’s everything to know.
Season 25 of The Voice premiered in February 2024 with coaches John Legend, Chance the Rapper, Reba McEntire, and the first-ever coaching duo, Dan + Shay. Why is John Legend leaving The Voice?
In May, Legend told Entertainment Tonight that he’s leaving the singing show to focus on his upcoming tour, An Evening With John Legend. “We’ve always got so many things going on. I’ll be doing a lot of shows this summer and traveling overseas this summer,” the 12-time Grammy winner explained. “I’ll be back… If only I were actually going to take a break!

Why is Dan + Shay leaving The Voice?
Dan + Shay revealed a similar reason for their upcoming exit: touring conflicts. The ‘Tequila” singers kicked off their Heartbreak on the Map tour in February of this year and announced plans to extend dates into the fall. “We’re touring a lot this year, which we’re really excited about, but obviously doesn’t allow us to come back,” Mooney recently told ET.
Why is Chance the Rapper leaving The Voice?
The 31-year-old rapper has yet to share the exact reason for his upcoming exit from the singing competition. However, his departure comes after Chance and his wife Kirsten Corley announced via Instagram that they were divorcing after five years of marriage. “After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways,” their matching statements read, according to Vanity Fair.

Newcomers Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg will join The Voice as coaches for the first time in Season 26. Snoop Dogg previously served as a mega mentor in Season 20, while Bublé was an advisor to Blake Shelton’s team in Season 3.
Legend told ET that he believes both “Michael and Snoop will do really well” next season. “It’s exciting to incorporate some new people into The Voice family. Having Snoop here, he’s been here as a mentor before, but having him as a coach, I think is going to be a lot of fun and reinvigorate the show a bit.”
He continued, “We’ve been around for 25 seasons and part of how we continue to stay fresh is introducing new coaches to The Voice family, and I think Michael and Snoop will do really well. And I’m excited that Gwen and Reba will be back too because they’re both wonderful coaches.”
Also joining The Voice in Season 26 is seasoned veteran Gwen Stefani. Having previously coached in seasons 7, 9, 12, 17, 19, and 24, the “Hollaback Girl” singer is no stranger to the coveted red chairs and advising contestants. She won the competition in Season 19 with Carter Rubin.
