Buddymoons—or a honeymoon in which friends join the newlywed couple—have become more popular over the last few years, and now it seems like musician Jon Bon Jovi is trying to turn the idea of a parentmoon into a new trend. Last week, Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea Hurley were spotted with their son Jake Bongiovi and his new wife Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown on the Italian island of Sardinia, where Newsweek reports the duo headed to enjoy their honeymoon.

Bobby Brown and Bongiovi were married in a private, intimate wedding in the U.S. in May, and though they enjoyed a post-nuptial vacation in Orlando, Florida, immediately after the ceremony, People reports, this Italian getaway is widely cited as their actual honeymoon. The group was photoed lounging poolside, walking around the island, and dining at local restaurants, making it clear that Bon Jovi and Hurley were intimately involved in the entire getaway. Bobby Brown also debuted number of white outfits and swimsuits on the trip, further indicating that the vacation was intended to be a honeymoon.

It’s no secret that Bon Jovi and Hurley enjoy a close relationship with their son and new daughter-in-law. “Millie’s wise beyond her years, wiser than I was at her age,” Bon Jovi has previously gushed about Bobby Bornw. “She and Jake are figuring things out together. You talk to them and they say, ‘We’re developing these [ideas for] films together’ and I’m taken aback.”

Earlier this week, after returning home from Italy, Bobby Brown was spotted trying on wedding dresses at Galia Lahav’s New York City bridal salon, Daily Mail reports, sparking rumors that the pair is planning a larger celebration in the months to come. The gown in question was an off-the-shoulder crystal-emblazoned number with a form-fitting bodice and tulle mermaid skirt. First-person accounts indicate that Bobby Brown was “overcome with emotion” while looking at herself in the wedding dress.

As for what we should all expect from a second ceremony? Earlier this year, Oppenheimer actor Matthew Modine, who played Bobby Brown’s “Papa” in Stranger Things, announced that he was asked to officiate the couple’s ceremony. I have one of those licenses to get people married, and Millie thought it’d be great,” he said. “And then, Jake said it would be a great idea. So, I wrote the wedding vows, and they loved what I wrote for them to join hands and to become husband and wife. It’s such a beautiful thing to be able to join two people in holy matrimony.”

There’s no word yet on when they’ll swap vows again, but if their first wedding is any indication, the happy couple will likely try to keep the event underwraps.
