Reba McEntire Asher HaVon

This week’s The Voice finale was special for Asher HaVon for two reasons—he became the Season 25 champion, and he got to sing a duet with the legendary Reba McEntire.

The 31-year-old gospel singer stunned the crowd with several memorable performances during the two-night finale on May 20th and May 21st. From his breathtaking rendition of Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You to his fun and energetic cover of Donna Summer’s Last Dance, he nailed every note he sang.

Asher also had the opportunity to light up the stage with his coach, Reba, just before he learned he was the season’s winner. Hearing the two powerhouse vocalists combine their talents was a true treat for the audience, and we’re certain both Asher and Reba knew what a privilege it was to perform together.

Asher HaVon and Reba McEntire took the stage to serenade fans with Patti LaBelle’s On My Own. The singers emotionally belted the lyrics to each other as though they’d performed the song dozens of times, and their voices and styles blended as if they were made for each other.

“What a great duet!” a fun wrote on YouTube. “And Reba was really holding her own next to the powerhouse that is Asher. That modern ‘Queen of Country’ label is much deserved.”

“I love seeing what song is chosen between a coach and artist that are different musically. This was such a great choice for them,” wrote another.
