Serbian tennis ace Novak Djokovic was left injured after a metal water bottle his head while signing autographs for fans. The Serbian suffered an injury after his second-round match at the 2024 Italian Open as he was about to exit the Center Court. While Djokovic was obliging to the request of his fans and signing autographs, a metal water bottle fell out of someone’s backpack and hit the player on his head.

Djokovic looked in immense pain after the accident but he shared an update saying that he was fine. However, that did not stop his fans on social media to speculate that it was a deliberate attempt to injure Djokovic. Social media was filled with conspiracy theories.

The Serbian’s fans found the incident odd. As the footage of the entire incident surfaced on social media, a Djokovic fan found the incident odd. They claimed that the person carrying the backpack had nothing to get signed in their hand and they also did not show any emotion after dropping the water bottle.

This whole incident is odd. If you look carefully the guy leaning over is not even holding anything to get Djokovic to sign with. He is then pictured straight after and doesn't look particularly shocked or upset either. It looks like a freak accident but is just very strange.
