Recently, she shared a heartwarming post on social media, narrating how she found out the importance of self-care.

A few months ago, the younger Williams sister visited Paris on vacation. During that trip, her girlfriend treated her to a spa day, and the 23-time Grand Slam champion shared glimpses of it while explaining the importance of self-care.

In the caption, she wrote, “Being ok to take time for myself is something I have always struggled with. On my last trip to Paris a girlfriend of mine treated me to a spa day. She knows after 2 babies I have been self conscious of my tummy. I just had to post this video she took. The results have been amazing. I can see progress with my skin going back to normal and my confidence coming back. Listen my body will never be the same but neither will I cause I have 2 amazing lights in my life.”

Williams has been a mother to two daughters, and she is very vocal about her motherhood and raising her children. She also used to share numerous pregnancy workout videos with her fanbase, which also depicted the importance of self-care in her life. Further, she also wrote, “I will always love my birthing scars, but I just wanted to say thanks to my friend and Nat for letting me know it’s ok to take time for myself away from work and kids.”

I know the word “self-care” is a little bit played out at this point. Yeah, the word self-care is played out, but it’s still super important. I just relax. I play video games with my daughter. She’s young and she loves it. Turns out I love it too.”
