Shaquille O’Neal wants to trade trucks? Shaq and his car collection are something that can make any grown man jealous. The 52-year-old has some of the most expensive variety of rides and has been keen on updating his collection often. More than cars, Shaq has an unmatched love for trucks. To fulfill one of his long-standing desires on Tesla, the Los Angeles Lakers legend went on to offer a wild trade request to YouTuber Funny Marco, who was invited as a guest to his show, The Big Podcast with Shaq.

At this point, it’s a dream for many to own a Cybertruck from Elon Musk’s Tesla. The cutting-edge technology has opened the eyes of many, including Shaquille O’Neal as well. But did you know that Shaq owned a Tesla car a few years ago? Yes, it was the Tesla Model S. Though the roomy car was spacious, it was small for him. In 2022, a TikTok influencer, Anthony C. Hall posted a video of Shaq candidly sharing his experience about the vehicle and had a request to the Tesla owner. Shaq said, “Elon, you wanna make a big boy Tesla?”

During the conversation with Marco, when Shaq got to know that the comedian owned a Cybertruck, he shared, “I need to check that out. You got the Cybertruck. Can I go check it out?” Marco gave the green signal, but mocked the 7ft giant by replying, “You can’t get in…I don’t want my car to be lowered.“ However, Shaq was too invested in the Cybertruck.

He questioned Marco, “How’ does it drive?” After a few inquiries, Shaq asked suddenly, “Can I buy your Cybertruck right now?” Marco went speechless and Shaq added, “Can I trade your truck for my truck?”

The Big Diesel owns the infamous Dodge TRX, which is listed at a price of $159,999. However, the Cybertruck, on the other hand, is only $61,000. This shows Shaq’s keen interest in Elon Musk’s latest production.

That’s a stunning trade offer from Shaq, which Marco agreed to. However, the deal did not happen for one major reason.

Shaquille O’Neal left unsatisfied after checking out Marco’s Cybertruck

Marco’s words were true. He was not joking when he said the Cybertruck would not fit Shaq. In another video shared by the comedian on YouTube, the two were checking out each other’s trucks. The 4x champion tried getting into Marco’s truck but his huge physique stood as a hindrance. The 7ft giant managed to compress himself into the seats of Marco’s ride. However, he was not comfortable inside the Cybertruck.

Although he desired to own the $61,000 truck, he ultimately gave up on it due to size restrictions. He even boldly claimed that his Dodge TRX was a better truck than the Cybertruck. If this trade had been finalized, it would have been a huge win for Marco, as he could have saved nearly $100,000. It’s just unlucky that Shaq had to be 7ft and 325lbs. Also, the above experiment from Shaq has revealed the flaws in the Cybertruck. So maybe it’s time for Musk to make a few changes to his car.
