What does the future have in store for Bronny James? Apparently, we’ll find out very soon.

Bronny, the son of NBA legend LeBron James, posted a few photos on Instagram this Thursday. Instead of writing a lengthy caption, he simply used the hourglass emoji.

Many people believe this is Bronny’s way of saying an announcement is coming.

Earlier this year, Bronny declared for the 2024 NBA Draft while retaining his collegiate eligibility.

That being said, it’s much more likely that Bronny is just gearing up for a very important week in the Windy City.

James has been invited to the NBA Combine, which will take place from May 12-19 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. That’ll be a good test for the former USC guard.

In his only season of college basketball, Bronny averaged 4.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Unlike his father, he’s not expected to be a first-round pick.

It was previously reported by The Athletic that the Los Angeles Lakers could draft Bronny in an effort to retain LeBron for the 2024-25 season.

For years, LeBron has said he’d love to team up with Bronny. However, that’s reportedly not at the top of his wish list anymore.

“The idea of them playing together is not a priority,” Adrian Wojnarowksi said on ESPN’s NBA Today. “It’s not foremost, at least any longer, in LeBron James’ mind.”

The next month or so will be interesting, especially since Bronny hasn’t made a final decision.
