The Milwaukee Bucks need to go through a youth movement and maybe some of the young talent they could find for next year and beyond could be through the G-League team, the Wisconsin Herd. Milwaukee is a basketball team that is not getting any younger.

The Bucks could be looking to move off players like Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, Pat Connaughton, Bobby Portis Jr., and others this offseason. Some of the Bucks free agents are Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, and Danilo Gallanari and those players may also not be re-signed.

There will be a lot of decisions that this franchise will have to make personnel-wise. It will be interesting to see what general manager Jon Horst decides to do. Who are some players that the Bucks should consider next season from the Wisconsin Herd?

Tyty Washington Jr. Should Be One of the Players That the Milwaukee Bucks Play More Next Season After Being With the Wisconsin Herd in the NBA G-League

Washington Jr. is technically on the Bucks roster, but he played a lot of G-League this season. Tyty Washington Jr. played in 24 games this season for the Herd and also started in 23 of those games as well. In the NBA G-League, he averaged 21.3 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 8.3 APG, 0.3 BPG, and 1.1 SPG.

Washington Jr. shot 46.7% from the field and also shot 42.6% from three-point land. He was the 29th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft from the Kentucky Wildcats. They need a backup point guard for Damian Lillard next season. Why not have him play minutes off the bench in the NBA next season and have him develop into that role.

Chris Livingston, Forward

Livingston is another player that is on the Milwaukee Bucks roster, but he was also playing games down with Wisconsin at the G-League level. Chris Livingston played in 16 games this past season for the Wisconsin Herd and also started in 14 games for them. He averaged 14.1 PPG, 7.1 RPG, 1.2 APG, 0.9 BPG, and 1.3 SPG.

Chris Livingston was the 58th overall pick (second-round selection) in the 2023 NBA Draft from the Kentucky Wildcats. He will be a name to watch for during NBA training camp in preparation for the 2024-2025 NBA regular season.

Wenyen Gabriel, Forward

Gabriel was an undrafted player from the Kentucky Wildcats. He has been in the NBA G-League for a few seasons and it might be time for him to get his shot to belong on an NBA roster. Wenyen Gabriel for the Wisconsin Herd last season played in 26 games and started in all 26 games. He averaged 16.7 PPG, 10.2 RPG, 3.2 APG, 1.9 BPG, and 1 SPG.

Wenyen Gabriel shot 53.1% from the field and also 45.1% from the three-point land. He could be a name to also watch for on the Milwaukee Bucks when next season comes around.
