The Duke and Duchess have arrived at a glitzy reception for the last event in their jam-packed trip to Nigeria to champion the Invictus Games.

Meghan Harry polo match

Meghan Markle has ditched her colourful clothing in favour of a plunging nude ball gown for the last night of her and Prince Harry’s Nigeria trip.

The couple have headed to a glitzy reception ahead of a polo match – the third engagement of the day to mark the end of their 72-hour tour.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the African nation to champion the Invictus Games. Eagle-eyed fans spotted Meghan swapping out her trademark neutrals for bold, colourful clothing inkeeping with Nigerian cultural dress.

Earlier today, she stepped out in a gorgeous sunshine yellow gown, and last night wore a bright red maxi dress after the first day saw her don a nude peach dress.

Addressing the wardrobe change at Saturday night’s Women in Leadership panel, Meghan said: “It has been a whirlwind 24 hours since we arrived, and I very quickly got the memo that I need to wear more colour so I can fit in with all of you in your incredible fashion.”

But the latest pictures show Meghan has reverted back to her trademark neutrals as she stepped out at the lavish event this evening wearing the gorgeous silvery-cream gown.

Alongside her, Prince Harry was seen dressed in a blue shirt, navy suit jacket and matching trousers.

Both beamed as they walked in hand-in-hand before they were due to present the winning trophy and then attend a gala fund raising dinner for Nigeria Unconquered who were hosting the event.

The charity match, which promoted the Sussexes as ‘special guests’, was held in ‘support and uplift’ of injured veterans, an advertisement stated.

An onlooker said: “They looked so happy to be there and it was a perfect day, maybe a little hot but they took their seats and immediately held hands.

“You can tell they are so in love it was wonderful to see.”
