Luka Doncic, who led the Dallas Mavericks to their first-ever Western Finals win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, is eligible to compete for the biggest contract in NBA history after being re-selected to the ‘All-NBA First Team’ along with Nikola Jokic, Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Shai Gilgeous Alexander (only one American in the NBA All-NBA First Team).

The former Real Madrid star is on a signed five-year, 215 million contract extension that he signed in 2022-23 and has a player option for the final year in the 2026-27 season.

Bobby Marks reports that thanks to Doncic being All-NBA the last two seasons the Slovenian would be eligible for a ‘supermax deal’ (maximum contract) of $346,338,300, for which Luka would be paid $69,267,660 per season.

Doncic would be eligible for this historic contract extension in two summers.
