King Charles has called upon Princess Beatrice to play a more prominent role in the royal family as Kate Middleton is still recovering from her cancer treatment.

Beatrice Will Be Stepping In For Several Royal Events

Princess Beatrice will be more visible this summer as the monarchy increasingly needs support. Beatrice is considered a non-working royal but will step in for Princess Catherine at several key royal events this summer.

King Charles is not looking to make Beatrice a working royal, but he will depend on Beatrice to represent him as a royal family member.

Beatrice may join the King for the state visit from the emperor of Japan, Naruhito, and his wife, Empress Masako, at Buckingham Palace in June.

Other key high-profile royal events for the summer include Trooping the Color, a state banquet, Garter Day, the 80th D-day anniversary, and several Buckingham Palace garden parties.

The monarchy has significantly slimmed down in recent years, and the King wants to plan accordingly and include Beatrice and her sister, Eugenie.

The monarch has a hectic diary within the next couple of months. Like Kate, he’s currently undergoing cancer treatment. He will need as much help from his family as possible.

Prince Andrew’s daughters are happy to help and ready to step in wherever needed. Despite not being a working royal, Beatrice’s willingness to get involved shows her commitment to her family.

Beatrice currently works for a startup company in New York but also has a home in the Cotswolds. She is married to property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and they have a daughter, Sienna, who was born in September 2021.

Beatrice is involved in several charitable organizations. She is a patron of the Northwood African Education Foundation, Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity, and many others.

Beatrice’s Participation Will Greatly Help King Charles

Royal expert Phil Dampier said,

“Princess Beatrice and Eugenie would make great working royals. I know that Bea and Eugenie are willing to do more and would happily help. They just need to be given the green light.”

Beatrice is also high up in the line of succession. As the Duke and Duchess of York’s daughter, she is ninth in line to the throne.

Beatrice’s participation will surely help the King when he needs it the most. In the past, Beatrice enjoyed assisting her late Grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, during the 2012 Maundy service.

King Charles was also thinking of freshening up the monarchy with some younger members as they would be the ones to carry the torch and serve as the next generation of royals.

Youngblood would be appreciated, as older royals like Princess Anne already do more than their fair share.

A source close to the palace said,

“Charles is very aware that his slimmed-down monarchy is getting positively skeletal. He’s looking to Beatrice and Eugenie. He thinks they’ve grown into very sensible, lovely women who he thinks could be a real asset. Charles is listening to the public.”

Charles needs members of the royal family whom he can count on. Beatrice would not only be appropriate to help the King; she’s more than qualified.

We hope Princess Catherine will be well soon. We also hope that the royal family will band together to ensure that everything runs smoothly until they return.
