Twelve prominent NBA stars, including LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant, are gearing up to represent the United States at the Paris Olympics with Team USA. While these players have already proven their prowess on the court, the NBA recently tested their ability to perform a simple trick: spinning a basketball on their finger.

In a video shared by the NBA on social media, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Jrue Holiday, and Anthony Davis effortlessly spun the basketball on their fingers. Though Curry is known for his exceptional ball-handling, he couldn’t keep the ball spinning for even a second.

When they first came to the training camp, Curry welcomed Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid with a humorous nickname. Unfortunately, Embiid, like Curry, struggled with the finger-spinning trick. While Curry made an attempt before failing, Embiid openly admitted his inability when asked to perform the trick.

No, I can’t. Probably the only man in the team who can’t,” Embiid confessed, perhaps unaware that Curry had also failed to master the trick.

Stephen Curry Admits Struggle with Basketball Trick

After his failed attempts, Stephen Curry candidly admitted his fear and embarrassment regarding this trick. The Golden State Warriors star revealed that spinning a basketball on his finger is something he has never been able to master.

“So I can do a lot of things with basketball, that is the one thing I cannot do. That’s one of the most embarrassing things of just me. You got me nervous even thinking about it spinning a ball on my finger. All my life that’s the one thing I can’t figure out. Yeah somebody needs to teach me,” Curry said.
