The Boston Celtics have eliminated the Cleveland Cavaliers after winning three straight games, securing a 4-1 lead in the conference semifinals of the Playoffs. Celtics’ star Shooting Guard, Jaylen Brown, received additional benefits from the team for his consistent performances against the Cavs.
According to recent reports by Bobby Marks on Legion Hoops, Brown, who inked a 5-year supermax extension worth $304 million last offseason, will reap additional benefits with Celtics’ success. Following the win against the Cavaliers, Brown has been reportedly granted a bonus of $396K.

“Whatever you do is going to be scrutinized — or no matter how good you are, it’s never going to be enough or (bring) any praise or media attention; it’s tough, but at the same time, it is what it is. You have to embrace that villain. As I get older, I start to embrace it more. Brown said during an interview with the Athletic.
Brown mentioned that he does not care about others’ opinions or appreciation and is focusing on helping his team win the championship this year.
“Embracing not giving a f**k whether they see (his value) or don’t see it, whether they appreciate it or don’t appreciate it. I’m focused on helping my team, helping my family, helping the city, and I go from there.” Brown added.
Brown will be back in action on Wednesday at TD Garden for game 1 of the conference finals. After game seven, the opponent will be determined between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers.
