Draymond Green Gets Brutally Honest About Bronny Ahead Of 2024 NBA Draft

Bronny James entering the 2024 NBA Draft surprised a lot of people. While he is the eldest son of LeBron James, his averages of 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game at USC didn’t exactly wow scouts.

One NBA scout, in fact, was recently quite hard on Bronny.

That said, not everyone is down on Bronny’s hoop prospects. Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green appeared on his podcast this week and offered his thoughts on Bronny’s future.

“He has more than enough attributes and tools and things about him that will make him a good backup point guard, at least,” Green said.

“Backup point guards need to pick up full court. He’s going to be able to do that with the best of them,” Green continued.

“Backup point guards need to be able to knock down shots. We know he can knock down a shot. Backup point guards need to be smart, not make mistakes. People complain that he played basketball too mistake-free.”

Clearly Green has a ton of confidence in Bronny’s future as a valuable contributor at the NBA level. Time will tell if he is ultimately proven right.

Bronny James Has Several Teams Vying For His Services

Bronny’s decision to remain in the 2024 NBA Draft solidified in most people’s minds that he knows someone will pick him.

Thus far, one team has been most closely linked to Bronny – for obvious reasons.

That said, a potential dark horse suitor entered the fray late last week.

Who will ultimately end up picking Bronny when everything is said and done? Time will tell.
