Like the rest of us, Milwaukee Bucks’ guard Damian Lillard also feels old watching LeBron James’ son, Bronny James, compete at the 2024 NBA Draft Combine this week.

After a lackluster performance in Tuesday’s scrimmage, Bronny James had a nice bounce-back performance at the combine on Wednesday, leading his team with 13 points in 23 minutes.

Lillard, 33, entered the NBA as a member of the 2012 draft class and has put together a Hall of Fame career. After seeing a video of Bronny knocking down a few jump shots in the scrimmage, Lillard could not help but share his thoughts on social media.

“This actually crazy to see,” Lillard posted to his account, featuring the highlight video.

He’s not wrong. It’s crazy to see Bronny inch closer to a spot in the NBA. It feels like just yesterday, we were watching LeBron suit up for his first NBA game.

There’s been a lot of speculation as to whether or not the Los Angeles Lakers will take a shot at Bronny in the 2024 NBA Draft and generate a father-son duo that everyone wants to see.

But Bronny is not viewed as a first-round draft pick, and plenty wonder if he has what it takes to even go in the second round.

But Bronny’s name alone should be enough to land him on a team, and he’s shown flashes that leave some thinking he has what it takes to succeed in the league.
