Bronny’s Brutally Honest Answer On If He Wants To Play With LeBron

Bronny’s Brutally Honest Answer On If He Wants To Play With LeBron

Bronny James is the biggest star around at this year’s NBA Draft Combine.

As the son of LeBron James and one of the more surprising entrants in this year’s draft, Bronny has largely stolen the show. His recent decision to not return to college and commit to playing pro ball in 2024 is arguably the most notable story in all of basketball right now.

LeBron has made it no secret over the years that he wants to play alongside Bronny in the NBA. Just this week, ESPN NBA insider Brian Windhorst revealed which squad will likely draft Bronny just to appease LeBron. The Philadelphia 76ers have also tried to position themselves to be able to add both members of the James family.

But does Bronny want to play with his dad? He offered his thoughtful answer to that question on Tuesday.

“My dream has always just been to put my name out, make a name for myself, and get to the NBA, which is everyone’s end goal that’s here,” Bronny said.

“I never thought about just playing with my dad, but of course he’s brought it up a couple of times. But yeah, I don’t think about it much.”

While playing or not playing with his dad isn’t a huge priority for Bronny, clearly it is something that means a lot to LeBron.

And few can pull strings around the league the way LeBron can.

Clearly Bronny is headed to the NBA. Where will he be playing come the beginning of next season? Time will tell.
