In fact, her elite way to celebrate her 22nd birthday at the 2024 Met Gala has gotten more eyes on her. These begin with the NBA legends like Dwyane Wade and reach all the way to the musical phenoms Cardi B and Usher. With such widespread popularity, she now also has big wishes from these superstars, along with a request for Chicago’s greatest sporting icon, Michael Jordan.

Talking in her post-game conference, Reese spelled out her wishes. She said, “I’ll start there. I want Michael Jordan to come to a game. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen him at a women’s basketball game. So, I want him to come to a game. Yeah, that’s really the person I really want. Obviously, being in Chicago and everything he’s done for the Chicago Bulls that would be really cool to see.”

Apart from His Airness, Angel Reese also interacted with the rest at the Met Gala. Talking about their commitments to a Sky game, she said, “When I was at the Gala, I talked to DWade. Obviously, he’s gonna come to the game. Cardi B, she’s gonna try to come to the game in New York. Usher, he said he’s gonna come to the game in Vegas and hopefully he’s going back on tour so all of us can go to the concert.”

Previously, Angel Reese also boasted a pin on her sweatshirt during an interview on her Senior Day. The pin had Cardi B in an LSU jersey.

Hence, when the two ladies got back together, they lifted the spirits of the night. Cardi B also posted a story rapping for Angel Reese for her 22nd birthday. In the prompt rap, the Grammy Award winner said how Reese is celebrating her birthday with the elites of the world. The No. 5 rookie too had some lines to add to the song for her fans.
