Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake recently paused a concert mid-show to make sure everyone in the crowd was A-OK.

The “Cry Me a River” singer was performing at the Moody Center located at the University of Texas at Austin on Saturday, June 1, when he stopped, signaling for the lights of the venue to be turned on.

“House lights up, house lights up, thank you,” he can be heard saying in a video clip from the incident, which was shared via social media. “Sorry everybody, one second, one second… we need some assistance right here, about five rows back,” Timberlake continued, pointing out into the audience at someone in need of help.

After the singer received confirmation that the concert attendee seemed to be okay, the “SexyBack” artist and the crowd applauded, as he remarked, “Thank you! Make some noise for this guy right here, he got back there very quickly.”

On X (formerly Twitter), fans applauded the concern shown by the 10-time Grammy winner.

“It is what we knew about him… I am glad that people captured it,” one said, as another wrote, in part, “Why I love Justin Timberlake he always cares about his fans he is a sweetie and a hero my Angel,” further describing how his music has also “saved [their] life” multiple times.

A third was convinced, “He cares a lot about his fans.”

Timberlake is currently on the road on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, where he will hit a slew of U.S. cities across the country and internationally through Dec. 2024.
