Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois will go head-to-head for the IBF heavyweight title at Wembley Stadium on September 21, it was announced this week. The battle of the Brits promises to be a fiery occasion after they had to be separated during a heated exchange in a sit-down interview. Anthony Joshua warned Daniel Dubois that he would “throw this f****** chair across your face” during a heated exchange ahead of their bout for the IBF belt at Wembley.

The two sat down for a joint interview along with promoter Frank Warren following the announcement of their fight for the IBF heavyweight belt on September 21 – live on TNT Sports Box Office.

But the sit-down soon turned sour after Joshua accused Dubois of “disrespect” and threatened his opponent.

“Honestly, speaking from the bottom of my heart, aside from belts and aside from it being him, I’m just ready to fight,” Joshua started off by saying.

Dubois replied “let’s go,” before Warren added: “But let’s wait until the 21st [of September].”

“If he wants to swing, let him go now,” Dubois responded.

Joshua repeatedly told his fellow Brit to “relax,” but he came back with: “If you want to go now, let’s go.

“I’ll throw this f***ing chair across your face, don’t disrespect me.”

Dubois fired back: “You can’t intimidate me…who do you think you are?”

An angry Joshua got off his seat, saying: “Daniel, don’t disrespect me because I’ll throw this chair through your f****** face.

“Don’t disrespect me on my life, boy.  Warn this little boy, don’t disrespect me bruv.”

Dubois replied: “Who the f*** does this guy think he’s talking to?”

“I don’t take disrespect lightly, Daniel,” Joshua said.

“Don’t sit on the table telling me we can go now and doing all of this and that, try call me out.”

The fiery exchange will only further heighten the anticipation ahead of the all-British clash at Wembley Stadium in London.

Two-time world champion Joshua is looking to claim the belt against interim champion Dubois, who took the title when Oleksandr Usyk vacated it earlier in the week.

The entire event will be broadcast live on TNT Sports Box Office on September 21.
