Adam will be sitting next to coaches who have all been on the show before.
THE Voice fans have begged for the show to be canceled after Adam Levin returns as a coach.
They want the singer’s past fellow coach to sit next to him and admit that it is “weird” without him.
Adam, 45, was named as one of the coaches for Season 27 on June 5.
“Season 27 is gonna be different. Voice fam, here we come,” the Maroon 5 singer said in a video announcing the new coaches.
He will be joined by Kelsea Ballerini, 30, and returning coaches John Legend, 45, and Michael Buble, 48.
However, fans are saying that The Voice should be canceled because Adam won’t be coaching with Blake Shelton.
Adam was a part of the first season of the competition show alongside Blake, 47, Christina Aguilera, 43, and CeeLo Green, 49.
He stayed on until Season 16, after winning three times.
Blake was a coach on every season until he retired from The Voice after Season 23.
‘IT’LL BE WEIRD’
Although fans were excited to see an original coach return, some of them wanted him back with Blake.
“Honestly shocked by this panel. I thought Reba was in for the long haul so I’m shocked she’s gone. It’ll be weird seeing Adam without Blake or Reba,” one fan said.
Reba joined as a coach in Season 24 and continued on to Seasons 25 and 26.
However, she will not be a part of Season 27.
“Adam with Blake?” another fan added with a crying emoji.
“Just cancel the show at this point,” a third added.
“Bring Blake back if you want to save the show,” a fan said.
“Adam without Blake is a loser,” an X, formerly Twitter, user wrote.
SEASON 26 COACHES
The news of the new coaches confused some viewers because they thought coaches were already announced for the upcoming seasons.
Season 25 saw Reba, Dan + Shay, Chance The Rapper, and John as coaches.
The upcoming Season 26 will have Reba, Michael, Snoop Dogg, and returning coach, Gwen Stefani.
The new lineup of Adam, Kelsea, Michael, and John will be for Season 27.
Season 26 will air in fall 2024 while Season 27 will begin in spring 2025.
