In the music video, North is initially depicted getting her hair styled while lip-syncing to the lyrics. She later impresses with her own rap verse, featuring lines like “It’s your bestie. Miss, Miss Westie. Don’t try to test me. It’s gonna get messy. Just just bless me! Bless me!”

Throughout the video, North is attired in all black and is seen alongside her father, who was flaunting his new titanium mouthpiece (which allegedly cost $850,000). The song, a collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign, forms part of Kanye’s upcoming album, , set for release on February 9. The video managed to garner an impressive two million views within just 10 hours of its release.

However, amidst the excitement, concerns have been voiced by some fans regarding the appropriateness of North’s exposure at such a young age, prompting discussions on social media platforms, with some critics alleging Kim and Kanye are pushing her into stardom.

One Reddit thread popped up to discussing the music video, “It’s just really sad, while another said, “She’s literally a kid, she’s going to end up like Britney Spears.” Some of the critics also pointed out the supposed hypocrisy from Kanye; the rapper has said he doesn’t want North making TikToks with her mom Kim, but seemingly has no problem with her appearing before an equally large audience in support of his music video.

However, despite the backlash, there were also many comments expressing excitement over how impressive North’s verse was, suggesting she has a future career in the music industry like her dad.

“This young lady is about to be trouble ! She’s about to take over,” one fan wrote, while another added, “It’s crazy how good her first song is.”

A different person added, “I hate Kanye. I hate Kim. But North, I’d fight for. I love her sm and I don’t even know her.”
