Stephon Castle Embraces Dreams with the San Antonio Spurs

Stephon Castle recently received a warm welcome to the San Antonio Spurs, where he was presented with his new No. 5 jersey. The rookie forward expressed his excitement and eagerness to join the team.

For Castle, the journey to this moment feels surreal. He reflected on the hard work and dedication that have propelled him to this point in his career.

Looking back on that time, I wouldn’t expect to be in the position that I’m in now. With all of the hard work that I’ve put in, I feel like it’s all paid off,” Castle said.

Upon his arrival, Castle wasted no time in connecting with Spurs star Victor Wembanyama via FaceTime shortly after being drafted.

Castle conveyed his excitement about teaming up with the 2024 NBA Rookie of the Year during his introductory news conference.

Just the thought of playing with him, of course it circulates in your mind, but it really doesn’t feel real until it becomes reality. So I mean, just to know that that’s going to be my future teammate now, I’m just really excited for what our future looks like,” Castle said.
