The Boston Celtics, the 18th NBA championship winner, lead the list, with two of their stars taking the first two positions on the list. Here’s a look at the top 10 all-time biggest NBA contracts.
10. Devin Booker (4 years, $220.44 million)

Booker signed a four-year, $220.44 million extension with the Phoenix Suns in 2022. His deal starts in the 2024-25 season, where he will earn an average annual salary of $56 million.
Booker will earn $50 million in the upcoming season, with his salary rising to $62 million by the final year of the contract in 2028.

Karl-Anthony Towns received a four-year, $220.44 million extension from the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2022. The deal begins in the 2024-25 season, bringing his total contract value to six years and $295 million.
KAT will earn $49.2 million in the 2024-25 season and $61 million in the final year of his contract.

Scottie Barnes is entering the final year of his rookie contract, but the Toronto Raptors have locked him in with a five-year max contract extension worth up to $224.9 million.
If Barnes earns All-NBA honors or is named the league’s Defensive Player of the Year next season, the deal could rise to $270 million. He will earn $38.7 million in the upcoming season, with his salary reaching $51.1 million in the final year.

In December 2020, Giannis Antetokounmpo inked a five-year supermax extension with the Milwaukee Bucks valued at $228 million. His deal was the largest contract in NBA history at that time, and his average annual salary was $45.6 million.
In the first year of this deal, during the 2021-22 season, he earned $39.3 million. Nevertheless, in 2023, Antetokounmpo agreed to a new three-year extension worth $186 million with the Bucks.

Bradley Beal secured a five-year, $251 million maximum contract with the Washington Wizards in July 2022. His average annual salary is set at $50.2 million. Beal’s earnings will increase yearly, reaching $57.1 million in the 2026-27 season, the final year of his deal.
