“Hawk Tuah” has become a phenomenon, and it’s shown no signs of slowing down.

Haliey Welch, who went viral for her goated interview in which she described an irresistible bedroom move, has made over $65,000 from merchandise sales.

That is according to her brand manager Jason Poteete, who also revealed Welch is a subject of interest among multiple media networks, with WWE one of them.

An article from Rolling Stone quotes Poteete as saying the “Hawk Tuah” Girl has been receiving attention “from everyone from large-scale media networks to the WWE.”

“A day or two after the video started going viral, Poteete reached out to a stunned Welch to figure out a way to monetize her brand,” the publication reports.

Welch has been selling “Hawk Tuah ‘24” hats made by Tennessee-based apparel company Fathead Threads. The Presidential election-themed pieces are selling at $32.78, while $50 would get you an autographed one.

According to Poteete, over 2,000 hats have been sold. He didn’t reveal how much money Welch has made since her merch dropped but said it was “pretty easy to do the math.”

So, 2,000 hats at $32.78 each would give us $65,560. She’s likely made a lot more than that, as it’s safe to assume lots of people would want theirs autographed.  Plus, she must have sold more by now, given that Rolling Stone’s article was published on Wednesday.

The ‘Hawk Tuah” Girl Is Not Loving Her Fame

Poteete revealed that Welch is feeling “overwhelmed” by all the attention. She did not agree to speak to Rolling Stone herself.

“She’s probably one of the most well-known people in the world at this point,” he said. “But I don’t know if she’s embraced it.”

There have been some conflicting reports on one of the “Hawk Tuah” Girl’s latest moves. On Wednesday, Page Six reported that the Nashville-based female signed with Hollywood agency UTA. TMZ has since reported that there is no such deal in place.

In any case, she’s making a killing.
