Prince William and Princess Kate dazzled fans as they took to social media to throw their support behind the Team GB Olympians following their achievement in Paris

Prince William left fans hot under the collar with his new look.

The heir to the throne, 42, and his wife, Princess Kate, also 42, took to social media on Sunday to celebrate Team GB’s achievements at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The future King and Queen joined famous faces including David Beckham, Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, Rebecca Adlington, Emma Willis and Snoop Dogg to mark the games coming to an end.

In recent weeks, William and Catherine have kept a low profile as the Princess continues to undergo preventative chemotherapy after it emerged she had cancer while undergoing routine abdominal surgery. In a clip shared with their 16.7 million followers on Instagram, the Waleses looked rather tanned, having made the most of the recent sunshine.

Standing in what appears to be the garden of their home, Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Castle estate, William and Catherine congratulated Team GB, with Catherine saying: “From all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB.” “Well done on all you’ve achieved,” added William, before saying: “You’ve been an inspiration to us all.”

Meanwhile a fourth added: “I had to watch that again, just to see William’s stubble – wowza!” “Yessssssss William is growing a beard. I was hoping he would,” typed another. Meanwhile, one excited follower penned: “William with a tan and a beard!!!”

Elsewhere in the video, US rapper Snoop Dogg started the video by saying “greetings loved ones” and ended it with the words “Thank you Great Britain, on behalf of big Snoop Dogg, the prince and his lovely wife.” David Beckham added: “Hey Team GB, we are so proud of you. Congratulations.”

The public video is the first time the Princess of Wales has been seen in public since attending Trooping the Colour earlier this year, for King Charles’ birthday. Her Royal Highness has taken a back seat from public duties since undergoing planned surgery this year, and then later preventative chemotherapy. It was reported that William was “devastated” by Catherine’s diagnosis, as the news came just weeks after King Charles had revealed his own battle with the illness.
