Kate Middleton’s ‘fresh priorities’ after cancer diagnosis leave ‘no room’ for Harry and Meghan

Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis has reportedly made the Princess of Wales reassess her life and what’s important to her, with one expert claiming there’s “no room left” for Harry and Meghan

A Royal expert voiced speculations that Kate Middleton’s cancer revelation has led her to reconsider her life and what’s truly important. The Princess of Wales shared her cancer diagnosis publicly in March, and by June, the 42 year old who is receiving preventative chemotherapy confided about having “good days and bad days”.

Jennie Bond, a former BBC Royal correspondent, suggested that the health scare must have prompted the Princess to reassess her priorities, with her husband Prince William and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis becoming her main concern.

“I’m sure cancer has made Catherine take a look at her life and her priorities. And I think those priorities are firmly with her family, her husband and her children,” Bond expressed to OK! magazine.

Bond also said that it’s unlikely Kate has any current capacity to dwell on past issues or anything related to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle now or in the future. Jennie highlighted that for Kate and her husband William, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are “irrelevant”, following their step back from senior Royal duties in January 2020.

She characterised the Prince and Princess of Wales as being a “tight and strong unit”, which has been strengthened over their 13 years of marriage, reports the Mirror.

“As far as William and Catherine are concerned, Harry and Meghan are irrelevant to them, their family and to the future of their lives. But there hasn’t really been any renewed drama coming from California since her cancer diagnosis, so I don’t think there’s been anything in particular for William to feel he has to shield Catherine from,” she shared.

“William and Catherine are a tight and strong unit. I don’t think they have anything more to fear from Harry and Meghan.”

These statements come on the heels of reports that the Princess of Wales will be joining King Charles and other Royal Family members at Balmoral Castle for their annual summer gathering.

In a previous conversation with OK! Jennie disclosed how the summer holidays will offer a much-needed break for the royals after a year overshadowed by health worries.

“It’s been one heck of a year for the Royal Family so far and nothing would please the King more than to have his close family gathered together in the peace of Balmoral for a time to take stock together, mark the passing of an incredibly difficult few months and look to the future,” she elaborated.
