Ahead of the 2024 college football season, the Crimson Tide’s head quarterback has signed with a new media company.

On Friday, Improbable Media, a media company founded by college basketball champion Jay Williams and NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo, announced that Jalen Milroe has officially signed on as their first athlete partner.

“When I first met Jalen in Tuscaloosa, there was an immediate connection and common ground,” Williams said. “All of us at Improbable are energized by the opportunity to closely collaborate with Jalen and so impressed with how he goes about his business.”

While Milroe joined the Tide in 2021, he truly carved out a name for himself during the 2023 season when he earned the starting quarterback position. He passed for 2,834 yards and 23 touchdowns and led all quarterbacks for rushing touchdowns with 531 yards and 12 scores.

He left a lasting mark on the legacy of the Iron Bowl with a last-minute, 31-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Bond and would snag the MVP title during a victorious SEC Championship matchup with Georgia.

“Joining the Improbable Media family is a game changer for me,” said Milroe. “Being a college athlete in this new world of NIL brings more opportunity but also challenges, so it’s important to have the right team around me. I’m looking forward to learning, growing, and expanding my own brand with Improbable.”

The Improbable Media team wasn’t just impressed with Milroe’s on-the-field performance however. A key factor in his signing was his contribution to Alabama’s LANK (Let All Naysayers Know) brand, alongside teammate Terrion Arnold.

“While Jalen’s incredible athletic accomplishments are well-known, we’re equally excited about the opportunity to highlight Jalen’s narrative off the field,” adds Jessica Lindell, who heads Brand Partnerships at Improbable Media. “At Improbable we always prioritize creating authentic, engaging content. This commitment ensures partnerships that resonate with both the brand and the athlete’s vision, creating significant impact.”

Milroe will return to the Field on Aug 31 for the team’s season opener against Western Kentucky.
