Regardless of what happens in the offseason, there’s no doubt that the Milwaukee Bucks will still have one of the oldest rosters in 2024-25. There is an apparent lack of young talent in this squad at the moment, which is an undeniably significant cause for concern — especially if you start thinking about what this team will look like five or so years down the road.

Perhaps what’s even more troubling is the fact that even the Bucks faithful themselves don’t have much confidence in the youth talent pool the team currently has at its disposal.

Milwaukee Bucks Fans Have Lack of Trust on MarJon Beauchamp

A couple of years back, the Bucks used their No. 24 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft on G League Ignite standout MarJon Beauchamp. The 6-foot-6 wing had a relatively promising debut campaign under Mike Budenholzer, but he did not take a significant enough leap in Year 2 under Adrian Griffin. The former Yakima Valley Community College standout pretty much lost his spot in the rotation once Doc Rivers came into the picture.

Bucks reporter Nathan Marzion of Behind the Bucks Pass recently created a poll to ask Milwaukee fans about their level of confidence in the 23-year-old now that he’s entering his third season as a pro. As of writing, less than 14% of the 3,200 people who took part in the survey said that they believe in Beauchamp’s potential:

To be fair, roughly 70% of the voters remain unsure about Beauchamp, which is better than the 16% who have lost confidence in him entirely. Nevertheless, you still have to note that 40% of fans have a belief level that is “leaning out” in terms of whether or not this young man can eventually become a valuable member of the squad.

At this point, to say that Beauchamp will be under a lot of pressure this coming season would be an understatement.
