Nathan Chester Fans Are Devastated After ‘The Voice’ Season 25 Finale

Alright, The Voice fans — it’s time to stand up for the season 25 winner, Asher HaVon and his epic coach, Reba McEntire!

As fans of the NBC series tuned into the two-part finale on May 21, viewers were wondering who would win it all. As the broadcast aired, folks watched contestants Asher, Karen Waldrup, Josh Sanders, Nathan Chester and Bryan Olesen fight for a final chance to come out on top alongside coaches Reba, John Legend and Dan + Shay (fellow mentor Chance the Rapper had no artists competing for the title going into the finale).

As Karen, Nathan and Bryan were all eliminated, Josh and Asher were left standing as the final two in the competition. In the end, though, Team Reba proved to be the winning team, as Asher clinched the top spot and was declared the champion.

“We will ALWAYS love you, @asherohavon!! 🫶,” read the caption on Instagram. “Congratulations QUEEN Coach @reba & our season 25 winner of #TheVoice!!! 🏆🤩🌟.”

While viewers were ecstatic to see Asher’s victory, in a surprise twist of events, many took to the comments to voice their disappointment over Nathan not even making the final three contestants.

“😂😂😂😂😂 Nathan got robbed!” one person screamed. “Hmmmm Nathan is the real winner 🔥,” another wrote. “What this country has done to Nathan is unforgivable!” a different follower added.

While Nathan didn’t exactly become the winner, he did share how grateful he was for being on The Voice. Shortly after the season 25 finale aired, he went on Instagram to thank his coach John for helping him throughout the series.

“As my time on @nbcthevoice comes to an end, I want to say thank you so much to everyone who supported me to make it this far,” he wrote. “Words can’t describe how thankful I am for all your love and support. HUGE thank you to UNC @johnlegend – you have blessed my life and taught me so much. I’m incredibly thankful for your mentorship. I’ll never forget it 💪🏾❤️.”

As for Asher’s feelings on winning The Voice season 25, he expressed his gratitude for all the support Reba and his fans gave him throughout the run.

“Wow! I am speechless! I am the Winner of @nbcthevoice Season 25!” he penned on Instagram. “I am truly humbled and grateful for this moment. First, Thank you to God for this gift and this opportunity to share it. Thank you to @nbcthevoice for continuing to give this platform for us to showcase our gifts. Thank you to Mama @Reba. You have changed my life and created a milestone in my life that I will have forever. I am your son for life ❤️.”
