The ‘Problem Child’ is stepping in the ring with heavyweight icon ‘Iron Mike’ on July 20, with the fight between the 27-year-old and 57-year-old set to take place in the blue-riband division under professional rules.

Paul normally has competed around the cruiserweight limit of around 200lbs, but his trainer Shane Mosley suggested that he was bulking up to a weight comparable to British heavyweight Anthony Joshua

A launch press conference saw the influencer come face-to-face with his opponent, before he took part in a promotional shoot and flaunted his new-look physique in fighting gear.

Paul looks huge in comparison to his previous weight, showing off much bulkier arms and chest, which will see him weigh around 230lbs on the night. And fans were stunned by Paul’s fresh look, with one commenting: “His entire body type has changed. Holy moly.”

Another agreed: “Jesus, this man is f***ing huge.” One claimed: “Bro looks built weird. Definitely not a natural weight for him lol. Looks normal at 185-190lbs.” A fan even suggested: “Jake Paul is looking scary.”

A fan was less optimistic, claiming: “Nah Jake is not carrying this weight well…. He looks like me right now.  “He should focus on building lean muscle mass this camp, and then cut to 220/230.”

One even joked: “Dudes built like skinnier Butterbean “He should focus on building lean muscle mass this camp, and then cut to 220/230.”

One even joked: “Dudes built like skinnier Butterbean.  A final viewer concluded: “Really has added those pounds. He himself said he wanted to bring a heavyweight. I think by next year he should be up against a professional active boxer.”

Paul has a professional boxing record on 9-1 and is up against a legend 30 years his senior, who has not fought competitively since losing to Kevin McBride in 2005.

Tyson has shown off his power on the pads despite his age, and has placed fears on the shoulders of his rival. But Paul has suggested he will go blow-for-blow with Tyson and has remarkably claimed he carries more power than the former undisputed champion.

He said: “I’m a natural born heavyweight, this is what I was born to do: move up into this weight class and show Mike who has more power because he is underestimating me and I believe I hit harder.

“I know it’s going to be tough, I know I’m going to have to fight through adversity, I know I might even go to the canvas, I’m scared, don’t get me wrong. “But it’s not about the fear stopping me, it’s about going into it even though I am scared – that is what true bravery is.”
